We are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Family Lawyers and a Practice Group Lead to join our legal team. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in family law, demonstrating the ability to handle a variety of cases including divorce, child custody, adoption, and domestic violence. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to client advocacy, and the ability to navigate complex legal issues with empathy and professionalism. An existing client base is preferred.

Duties

• Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce proceedings, custody disputes, and property settlements.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws.
• Draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining strong relationships with opposing counsel.
• Maintain accurate records of case progress and client communications while adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Provide clients with clear guidance on their rights and options throughout the legal process.

Skills

• Proficient in legal drafting with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation skills to effectively advocate for clients’ interests.
• Ability to write clearly and persuasively for various legal documents and correspondence.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with clients during challenging situations.
• A solid understanding of family law statutes and regulations is essential for success in this role.

Compensation

We offer a fee-split arrangement or salary model with performance bonus. The expected salary range for this position is $150,000 – $200,000. Compensation will be determined by the year of call and experience.
