Lindsay LLP is currently seeking a full time Legal Administrative Assistant with experience in insurance defence.
- Schedule discoveries, mediations, trials, appointments and maintain calendars
- Organize files, binders, documents, and other file related materials
- Draft correspondence – dicta-typing
- Filing, opening and closing of files
- BF system
- Time entry and monthly billings
- Holds a Legal Administrative Assistant diploma from a recognized program
- Solid understanding of legal procedures and documentation
- Excellent spoken English and composition, spelling, grammar and editing skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
